Nursery Grant

Nursery Education Funding 
All children qualify for Nursery Education Funding from the first term after their 3rd birthday. The Local Education Authority set the number of weeks in each term and the amount of funding per session.

How to claim your grant
The Nursery completes most of the paperwork for you. You will be given a form by the Nursery Manager to fill in and return. This information is then collated and sent to the Local Education Authority. The funding period has been extended so that parents now receive 15 hours per week during term time for 38 weeks.
