Nursery Education Grant (NEG)
All children qualify for the Nursery Education grant from the first term after their 3rd birthday. The Local Education Authority set the number of weeks in each term and the amount of funding per session.
How to claim your grant
The Nursery completes most of the paperwork for you. You will be given a form by the Nursery Manager to fill in and return. This information is then collated and sent to the Local Education Authority. The grant period has been extended so that parents now receive 5 x 2 ½ sessions for 38 weeks.
Discounts
Discounts are available for siblings and for parents employed by Hampshire Constabulary.
Methods of payment
We are eligible to receive payment using a range of childcare vouchers including: Accor, Allsave, Busy Bees, Care 4, Sodexho and Leapfrog. Fees are paid by standing order, cheque or cash and unlike many other nurseries we do not charge for Bank Holidays.
